New version of FL Studio.....

#1 AUDIO TRACKS SUPPORT: The audio tracks functionality seems new and it not polished. I have having to specify a wav name every time I want to record an Audio Track. I really wish they could make the Audio Tracks a bit more like Cubase SX. This make it alot easier to sell this product to potential Cubase SX / Nuendo / Sonar / Pro Tools users. Right now it's just easier for to use Cubase SX to record guitar, etc.

I agree with this point. I think they should make the audio tracks into actual "tracks" and not "clips", so that the bottom of the playlist has 99 audio "tracks". That way you could arm the track to record as opposed to the mixer, which is probably the more traditional way of working with audio.

Recording audio in FL is a complete pain. It truely would be the only app I would ever use if it had the functionality of something as simple as Traction, or indeed Cubase. You are absolutely right - we need tracks not clips. Hit R to record something, backspace to wipe it, and R to have another go. Easy!

I love fruity too, but I must admit I much prefer AA1.5 for my audio. For me they are a good combo..

To clarify my above position, the upgrade to FL Producer Edition, I consider an expansion. Ideas like DigitalDoom are the type os stuff I'm talking about. Core stuff needs updates, new stuff needs to expand the program. I really don't consider expanding a sample base another 1 gig (or 20 gigs for that matter) an update or an improvement nor would I consider it an incentive to buy the app (but the later part is personal opinion.

oh, and 2500000 after taxes, rent, other employees, web based services, and other various expenses means you'll be living in a shit hole shack for ten years worring to death that your wife will leave you.
