Agree!

I bought the Frap Tools one and the Verbos, but both lack the option to crossfade between two settings. Which for me is the single most important feature for this kind of module.

I might actually get Modular just to play with this one.

That sounds interesting. Here’s an example on youtube:

This seems pricey, even with the discount codes. However, wanting to maintain my status as a good consumer, I bought it immediately.

The morphing functions can get even more interesting if you get the 225e Preset Manager involved. 200e is a beautifully (if occasionally buggy) system. I just wish that third-partys could make stuff which would interface with the preset system.

I'm really hoping that the Select Bus system starts to take off in Eurorack, the fact the my Tempi, and Disting mk4 can follow the state selected on my Rene v2, has been a revelation. Which brings me to a question I will ask elsewhere...

the softube presets with this spectral filter are very boring but I got very intresting results after watching some youtube turorials from the hardware.
Hope softube will model endorphin.es or dreadbox in future

I think we need sequencers, VST host module and better workflow in Softube Modular.

Agreed. I’ve been saying from the beginning that they should have at least included the Doepfer A-154/155 sequencer. I have two of each in hardware, and they are much more versatile than anything included so far.

I have to say, price notwithstanding, the 296e really sounds good and is quite versatile. For that matter, I finally got around to applying Tape and Saturation Knob to my effects chain, and I’m really very impressed with the quality of Softube products.
