Ummmmm Seriously? You literally have a built in sequencer by opening a midi clip, and punching in the notes.

There's an endless amount of ways to make music. Some ways are more intuitive to others, and some ways provide an easier workflow. Not every person creates ideas in the same way, or wants to. If I wanted to punch in notes via a midi clip, don't you think I would have asked how to do that? I specifically asked for something very similar (if not identical) to Redrum within Reason.
