my Qunexus has become sticky as well. Does anyone know if they still use the same material after finding out that it turns sticky? I'm wondering if their new products are improved.
Thanks! Riley

If you go to their parts link on their website. You can order a brand new red enclosure. I think that’s pretty cool, it’s only $40. I just ordered one with a midi retrofit upgrade kit

Sadly their international shipping cost is absolute insanity. I wonder why with some companies USPS is a few bucks and others it's an arm and a leg.riley4reason wrote: Thu Nov 04, 2021 12:56 am If you go to their parts link on their website. Anybody know the wiring on the USB to midi DIN cable? That's a fantastic addition.

Mine is sticky too - seems to be the black bits only, not the pads, but it picks up dust too easily

They should offer a discount to owners of the sticky Qunexus.riley4reason wrote: Thu Nov 04, 2021 12:56 am If you go to their parts link on their website. You can order a brand new red enclosure. I think that’s pretty cool, it’s only $40. I just ordered one with a midi retrofit upgrade kit
Mine I rubbed all the sticky rubber off with rubbing alcohol, I don't think I'll bother getting the enclosure, hardly use the thing anymore anyway.

My QuNexus has become sticky to

Does anyone suggests a working cleaning procedure?
Any spare parts (basically the whole black chassis) are sold in Europe?
thanks!

KMI have added a cheaper option for shipping to UK. $27.15 for a red enclosure. Maybe not much more if you add the midi cable, although I got one of those last year from Amazon.com (uk shipping)

Happened with my Moog little Phatty stage II, the end panels, mod and pitch wheel, like they were covered In honey. I removed the end panel and the pitch/mod wheel box gave it all a good scrub with isopropyl, this was only a few days ago and it got rid of the sticky, however I’ve read it will reappear in time.

it shouldn’t it’s a coating so if it’s at the stage of honey, it should be permanently gone if you removed it.CANE CREEK wrote: Mon Oct 03, 2022 2:36 pm Happened with my Moog little Phatty stage II, the end panels, mod and pitch wheel, like they were covered In honey. They're still around.
