Pädy,Btw, can you explain me the following:
In the audio editor, when I select the audio clip there's another wave form poping up at the bottom of the window. I found out that I can resize the audio clip by draging the two little squares left and right. But there seems not to be an option to make those squares snap to the grid. If that's true it's entirely luck whether the clip is still in sync after editing - especially since you cannot zoom in vertically.
That waveform at the bottom is the one you are currently working on (I call it the Clip Editor) You can have several clips on an audio channel in the Audio Part and several channels. And you are right, the squares do not snap.
This might do what you want:
- set Snap to the desired value,
- zoom in at your desired start point for the clip, using Ctrl+mousewheel over the position, in the upper waveform
- position the start of the clip as desired
- then, in the clip editing panel (the lower waveform), drag the left hand square to the right
- you should see the waveform content of the upper clip move to the left.
- when it is Ok, use Edit/Copy and Edit/Paste to place the clips where you want them

I've been longing for this for a long time - why I never brought it up is beyond me![]()
Perhaps you were a bit distracted playing with your metronome and count-in
And I would like to see
both Snap to the Snap grid,
and Snap by the Snap interval (as it is now)

Thanks Simone I for your explanation.
Any official word on the subjects and FR? Just curious.

No problem.
The only official word I can offer is eXTraordinarily good.
I am aiming to publish an updated FR list tomorrow.

Another update and no mention of fixing the ASIO.dll problem. I haven't tested it again though, maybe you fixed it but didn't list it on the release notes. Anyway, hopefully I'm not too impatient but I really consider this to be an important issue, so some official word when we can expect this to be fixed would be much appreciated.
Cheers, Pädy

Here Here!! Resizing the beggining of a part would make working so much smoother. And I would like to see
both Snap to the Snap grid,
and Snap by the Snap interval (as it is now)
Have a great well deserved holiday Jorgen.

Hi Jorgen,
Had a look at the current update and apparently the problem is still there. All output signals are roughly 6 dB below the live input signal. Any news on this?
Cheers, Pädy

Sigh.
Jorgen, the current build still is 6 dB below the live input signal.
I mainly use Guitar Rig for live playing. eXT is superb for jamming along and recording live stuff in an easy fashion. But... this bug is now in there for as long as I can think with no attempt of yours to fix it. What is it? Do I have to explain the problem again? Can't you reproduce it? What do I need to do for you to fix this. I'm sure this is something trivial, maybe just a typo. Please, fix it.

Hi, right-click sequencer comp and select "inputs and outputs", then unlink the first Stereo input so that you get 2 mono instead.
Then route your line in (mono isnt it?) to the first mono input of the sequecner.
You may have to do the same with Master in comp, Im not sure what input configuration your asio driver has and what intputs you have enabled in audio setup.
The trick is to make sure there is no mono to stereo convertion.
cheers
