I've used Live for 8 years and 4 years ago I bought Bitwig. I'm using Bitwig exclusivly since 1 year but I just updated my Live from 9 to 10 because I don't like the way Push works in Bitwig. That said, if I wasn't a Push owner I would never use Live again.
If you produce electronic music and like to create your own sounds from scratch, like me, you can't go wrong with Bitwig, but if you love your Push and use it to its FULL potential in Live (augmented with Preditor from Isotonik), mmmh, you won't like the Bitwig implementation to much. If you don't use Push full feature set in Live you will be happy to have a working controller in Bitwig without that much of a learning curve.

If one does lots of sample slicing, I’d say stick with Live + Push2
I don’t slice samples, prefer using a keyboard or Linnstrument for playing and often used arrange rather than session view, so after a while I found myself using the mouse and screen more than Push (when still using Live). Eventually Push was just collecting dust.
If for some reason I decided to start using Live again, I wouldn’t buy a Push again. Other controllers would suit me more.

I demoed Bitwig 3.1.1 for more than 6 hrs these 2 days but haven't find a good way to chop the sample as simple as simpler. May be I just overlooked Bitwig's sample processing power so I will continue to dig out. But most likely I will buy it before 7-Jan
Ah yes, I just felt the power of push4bitwig. I finally managed to use Push2 to work with Bitwig !
And thanks this guy (Baphometrix) for showing me a detailed comparison between these 2 bad boys.

Love Bitwig; I'm only at a hobby level but I am more engaged and it is almost like it's an instrument itself with all the modulation options. Have Live with Push 2 but Bitwig flows better for me

Long time Live user and switched to Bitwig almost a year ago.
Then I got Modulat for Ableton.....
Ableton is still the fastest workflow to date for me and Modulat added lots of power at very low cpu cost.
Love BW but I came back to use both.
Simpler and the slice function is my dream toy.
Push is my next step.

Dumped live 10 for bitwig and don’t miss anything except maybe convert audio/drums to midi(though that feature didn’t always work that great) and bitwig looks fresher to my tired old eyes...
