New Falcon website

Great to see more Falcon support. For me it's the most surprising Synth I've used in years. I expected the learning curve to be really steep - no problems at all, I clicked with it really quickly. I find the workflow to be fast and really enjoyable, everything about the software is high quality and great to work with. I think many people are put off Falcon (as I almost was) because it has the reputation of being complex, hopefully more supportive sites, etc will improve this.

So I'm gonna show you some Parts from time to time when I've found another striking aspect of Falcon.
The first Part mimics someone who is walking / jogging.

I've used a sample from FreeSound.org member ericsoundschmiede. Thanks!
Default tempo is 120 bpm.

The next Part is about changing Presets while the DAW is running, without interrupting melody and rhythm.

What I've done here is remote control the onOff status of Gain and Pitch mod sources.
This method works also for Event/Script processors, but with the limitation that the second EventProc has to be retriggered.
This Part has three Layers. Synth and Perc mod sources aka Presets can be changed w/o problems, Kick Layer has to be retriggered when changing from 2nd to 1st Arpeggiator.

Thank you, falcon is so huge that needs a lot of time to tame it. Nice job on the site exactly what needed to start off, cause easily can lost in the different falcon's layers. Also the links tab is totally good. You can put more there and expand it!

It's hard to beat Dan Worrall, but there are indeed some other interesting YT videos. I'll add it when I've got time!

Next patch is inspired by Behringer's Neutron.


I sampled Neutron's waveforms (sine, tri, saw, pulse, tone mod) and made a wavetable out of it so we can blend them like in the original ('Shape').
Fortunately osc tuning is stable in Falcon (I have to calibrate Neutron quite often).
Unfortunately Falcon displays only % values. -100% means -48semitones, -50% -24 semitones, -25% -12 semitones..you get the picture.
To mimic Neutron's Lfo waveform blending I used Paraphonic Lfos which fade between saw up, tri, saw down, sine and square.
Instead of Neutron's Overdrive I added the Guitar Boxes Fx. Far left means no Fx, further to the right you can select the different models.

You should have a look at the script. It's clearly harder than macro knob to understand but it's 100000% more powerful.

No no you get me wrong - It's just when there's a new joiner with just one post and that post is pointing to a website with not much other detail, then the chances are high that it's just a bot pointing to some dodgy website. So I was nicely surprised to learn that wasn't the case and was actually a site I'll definitely be using many times in the future !
