Vox + Instruments.

Basically it would fall into several categories I guess: Punk Metal/Industrial/Aggrotech/DnB (darkside 90s stuff).

If I was to release music it would be done with art, etc. But then as a graphic designer/illustrator it would be lazy for me not to. :)

The last question is the most problematic for me... When I write music it's generally just for myself as I'm not in a band at the moment. I don't really care what people really think either. I'd be far tougher on myself then anyone else could ever be. So the urge to share it is somewhat minimal.

However, If I was to release an EP or whatever it would be more of a bucket list thing (although I have released a few tracks on a tiny indie label years ago).

Former modular user (Moog, natch). Floral shirts: check. Checked shirts: when the floral ones need washing.

Love me some Beatles and Led Zeppelin. Likewise Parov Stelar, Morton Subotnick, EL&P, Suzi Quatro, Raymond Scott, Chet Atkins, JMJ, Wendy Carlos, Harry Partch, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Brian Setzer, Pierre Schaeffer, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, The B-52s, Yes / Buggles (together or separately), Simon and Garfunkel, Vangelis, Sneaker Pimps, !DelaDap…

Oh, right: what kind I make. All kinds, none of it much good. Them's the breaks.

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Awesome music, what else? For the time being I'll vote instrumental though.

funny, cos actually paying attention to what they listen to and mention would indicate a significant number of 'modular folks' here listen to a wider range of music than most people.

Yes. So far as I know I'm the biggest pop hating curmudgeon among the long term regular members here at kvr, and Ive never owned nor even seen any modular equipment in my life, save in photos here at kvr.

People around these parts tend to be pretty unpredictable.

Darkish ambient/drone abstract stuff. No vocals. I release stuff on Bandcamp these days.

I hate some pop, and I really like other pop. Most of my favorites are from the 80s, a few from the 70s or 90s. The pop I hate the most is mostly from the last couple of decades.

Led Zep is pretty damned good overall. The Beatles have some good stuff but I don't have really strong feelings about them either way. Coldplay is in that area of bands I have aggressively ignored and I couldn't name one of their songs without a Google search. Radiohead I don't like in the least.
