not gonna try and explain the technicalities but do yourself a test... put a long verb on something simple. play them both back one @ 44.1k and the other say @88.2k and listen to the tails imo all effects sound a tad better at higher rates. (so do sample libraries) i always print/render audio w/inserts at a higher rate then just use the print/render... but sadly everything gets funneled back down to 44.1k for playing on most all devices.
cheers

PS. Does anyone still have a link to the Antress Modern Bundle?
Does this link not work for you?

You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

Five years back, there was an excellent one-knob ambient reverb. I can't remember the name to save my life. It doesn't seem to be listed in the database here under free+reverb.

Not sure if I'd consider this an ambient reverb but...was it this one?arkmabat wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2020 10:00 am Five years back, there was an excellent one-knob ambient reverb. I can't remember the name to save my life. It doesn't seem to be listed in the database here under free+reverb.

Damn. Sorry, man, I didn't try downloading but I was hoping the d/l would work for you. I'll check my external HD and see if I still have it.El°HYM wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2020 9:17 amNope... both seem 2B long gone!Russell Grand wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2020 12:30 amYeah, Dragonfly is great.El°HYM wrote: Fri Apr 10, 2020 7:45 am Dragonfly is pretty good:

Thank you for looking! Not these, but they look interesting. I was able to find the plug, however it seems to be 32-bit only. This thing floored me five years back, and even if the algorithm doesn't stack up with current standards, it's dead-simple to slap onto anything and make instant ambient pads.Russell Grand wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2020 10:04 am

The Antress site and Dropbox are both down, it seems. I know I have a backup somewhere and can look tomorrow. It may not be the newest versions and definitely only 32-bit.

Cool, thanks for the link to Reflex, arkmabat. I can still run 32 bit plugs in my DAW so I'm gonna download now and check it out.arkmabat wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2020 10:15 amThank you for looking!
