Why?
It's one of the best for what he's looking for, which is also my all time favorite for that reverb from outer space kind of sound.

Just got this, I'm impressed that such a simple module could provide some of the juiciest delay/reverb/mod fx that moves. Great audio engine going on there

https://www.audiority.com/shop/xenoverb/

Has eleven different algorithms covering all the regular stuff as well as a decent shimmer, a frequency shifting bode mode, a formant mode (great for fake vocal sounds) etc. Quite often pops up in sales very cheap too.
How about their Grain Space? I´ll test both!

I´m not, for several Reasons. But I can still remember their Reverb/Grain FX from 2005 and already thought about them when doing it "spacy", too ;-)

If you like to automate verb parameters I would recommend Dubmachines’ Diffuse

Try making your own sounds to use as an impulse for a convolution reverb. There are vast unexplored territories there.Try boosting the microscopic tails of reverbs to discover hidden artefacts(use a limiter) after multiple gain plugins then record the reverb tails.

Audiothing has some great options for you.

Fog Convolver has a sound library that includes some unusual spaces sound effects from objects like tinfoil, toasters, eggshells, and frying pans. All of these can be used as impulse responses.

You asked for "wider and unnatural", and I think this will do the trick for you quite nicely.

Their Frostbite 2 plugin combines ring mod, freeze, lfo, and feedback modules along with reverb. This is one of my personal favorites for mangling sounds because it has just enough depth to be fun and exploratory without becoming overwhelming with option paralysis.

And check out what it can do to synths, since you mentioned that specifically:

I have asked a serious Question and I have not found this Topic (... for Sound Design) anywhere else. As you maybe know the Market is quiet intransparent and I hope to maybe get to know something new here.

Unfortunately we seem to end up as usual - but you never know before.
