This is great information!

I have actually been working with the HY Sequencers (with help from Tadashi), and believe they may do the trick just fine. I would like to have other options, as well, and will definitely check out these other suggestions.

If you are still looking for this, there are two options not mention thus far: Bidule and DDMF Metaplugin. Both allow you to host vstis (or sequencers) within them running at a different tempo to the host.
