The noises are quite appealing here, no boredom like in certain modular pieces elsewhere. Maybe a hint of pushing the master to the top end would have been nice, anyways, well done!

I was wondering if anyone would notice that frequencies above 10k are basically missing from this. :lol:
The high end of this was rolled off on purpose. It sounded harsh in a bad way, with the upper frequencies intact. The two samplers I used in this were running at low sample rates, so all that was going on above 10k was noise. There is still high frequency stuff going on but I felt like the aggressive filtering also contributes to a claustrophobic feeling. The API 5500 does a lot to help polish the >7kHz range, so it doesn't sound too muted, IMO.

Cutting the highs definitely gives the recording a "subterranean" vibe, but that's quite a good thing imho. This certainly doesn't need to be "bright and airy". I loved the hissings, cracklings and clankings and the bass notes were menacing.
