all right

Just change the skin to Blue or Dark, pick good track colours (that's a problem in any DAW), dock the mixer to one side so that it's never full-screen (which is jarring for darker themes).xbitz wrote: Sat Jan 02, 2021 6:58 am...

Yes. Reason as a primary DAW has been dead for awhile minus a few dedicated groupies, and most of those have moved on. Reason as a VST is the only market they should be focusing on now.GusGranite wrote: Sat Jan 02, 2021 3:13 pm So is this best year ever related to opening Reason up as a VST plugin? I know that’s why I finally bought in.
Do YOU use it as the RRP? How many REs have YOU purchased to use with it? If not, who are you to tell Reason Studios they should drop the DAW and focus on RRP instead? There's still many - and apparently more every month - Reason DAW users. Those that stayed (or came back) accepted RRP as a means for Reason Studios to branch out and bring in more money, so that they could further develop Reason itself and the RE environment.Psuper wrote: Sat Jan 02, 2021 3:16 pmYes. Yes, it was a smart thing to do, as it's basically a win-win for all:fedexnman wrote: Sat Jan 02, 2021 3:30 pm The REASON RACK PLUGIN .... of course it's a DAW but also a plug-in of plugins ... The best thing they ever could do . I think they can improve the program as a DAW and also release the updates with cool Reason Rack device every so often . Almost like NI Komplete business model in some ways . I'm happy for them.
You dropped it as a DAW -- and you're one of the few who keep going on about "Give me hi res assets and I'll use it as a DAW again!". I was the spearhead trying to get Props to focus on the DAW for years over at rt while you and your groupies poo-pood it over and over saying how it was fine as-is except for resolution. You and your 24" 4k demands.antic604 wrote: Sat Jan 02, 2021 3:24 pmDo YOU use it as the RRP? How many REs have YOU purchased to use with it? Not to mention it's pretty disrespectful to call people who chose differently "dedicated groupies"![]()
You're behind the times, I see? I dropped all the other DAWs and returned to Reason, even without the high-res GUI - it's that good, for mePsuper wrote: Sat Jan 02, 2021 3:55 pmYou dropped it as a DAW -- and you're one of the few who keep going on about "Give me hi res assets and I'll use it as a DAW again!". Good thing Reason didn't add any hi res this year or you'd be here talking about how THAT was the one of the main reasons it sold well. Newsflash --- the high-res assets won't mean anything for Props sales if its for the DAW, only matters if the rack is scalable.
I know what I'm talking about in this case, and you don't.
I know that most of you guys either selectively don't remember posts from people, or purposely don't. However I remember what I read and say, and remember what many others post as well -- its one of the main reasons my predictions are often spot on and I'm not afraid to bank on them -- made me successful in life, and is just a by-product entertainment factor for me online in forums.antic604 wrote: Sat Jan 02, 2021 4:26 pmYou're behind the times, I see? And actually high-res GUI (which obviously means it will be DPI-dependant / scaleable, GPU-accelerated and will be applied to RRP that's integral part of Reason) IS a huge deal! Most people not using Reason because GUI's too small or "soft" (blurry, due to upscaling from low-res assets) are on laptops or '24'' 4K screens' and Reason has to adapt, like all the market did. It will happen this year.
Wonder who said that just 3 months ago...12 Sep 2020
I don't need a lot to upgrade and go back to using Reason. High-res GUI and folders would do. Actually either of them would be sufficient
Now I'm on Bitwig, sometimes Studio One and - surprisingly for me - I don't really use RRP in them. For some reason it seems weird, as if I was cheating or something
Where did I claimed I didn't say it?Psuper wrote: Sat Jan 02, 2021 4:38 pm I know that most of you guys either selectively don't remember posts from people, or purposely don't.
