@Peter, does the full version of Modo Bass contain a MPE compatible fretless? If not, is there a plan for the future?

yeah i know, but it was important for me to give you that feedback, in german forums there are often advices to buy in us shops.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Thu Mar 04, 2021 10:09 pmIf US dealers are selling overseas and not charging VAT that's not something I'd call out publicly...sacer wrote: Thu Mar 04, 2021 8:36 pm$300 would be close, but I never buy from ik multimedia directly. I prefer jrrshop or audiodeluxe because of VAT.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Thu Mar 04, 2021 8:21 pmIf you have Total Studio 2 MAX you should be close to that with the auto-applied $200 coupon.
But it’s no Problem, I can wait till Black Friday
Thats also the reason why i have more than 200€ jam points, because they give me absolutely nothing

There is currently no fretless in MODO BASS. I know that the feature request has definitely been made, so I'll bump it again.Tj Shredder wrote: Fri Mar 05, 2021 7:28 am @Peter, does the full version of Modo Bass contain a MPE compatible fretless? If not, is there a plan for the future?

Been looking forward to upgrading from TS 2 Max, but no way it’s worth it to me, even with the supposed €200 ‘in basket’ discount. Sorry IK, you lost a customer.

TS2 was great value in the sales, it has most of the same products and was being sold off super cheap for the last several months, it makes TS3 look very, very expensive in comparison....
Its a pretty eclectic collection of stuff in TS3, I cant imagen anyone that want/would need it all of the new stuff and the majority of what many people may want was in TS2 plus A5. I suspect many people (like me) did the A5 upgrade already, so there isn't that much left that is very exciting to me personally.

X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Total Studio 3 MAX does not have "most of the same products" there's a ton added and even people who bought it on sale for peanuts can pay $/€299.99 for a huge amount of additional products. Sorry, but I think there's a lot of trivializing in that statement about it being "most of the same". $/€299.99 is not "very, very expensive" for what you get.

The cheapest upgrade from MAX2 with the 'special' discount is 360 Euro ( with tax!) and I already own stuff like Amplitude 5 and a few other bits, so not very cheap for me. I demoed the MODO stuff and have no real interest in them, I guess if I did the price may be OK, but you would really have to want 'everything' and have not have already bought it!Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Fri Mar 05, 2021 7:10 pm Total Studio 3 MAX does not have "most of the same products" there's a ton added and even people who bought it on sale for peanuts can pay $/€299.99 for a huge amount of additional products. No Incentive to Max grade either....having just recently bought AT5 this purchase is not taken into account....Looks like it’s a blanket discount for TS2 Max owners...Regardless if you have other Products on top like Tapes or AT5...WatchTheGuitar wrote: Fri Mar 05, 2021 6:18 pm Been looking forward to upgrading from TS 2 Max, but no way it’s worth it to me, even with the supposed €200 ‘in basket’ discount. Stuff I don’t have in TS3 Max
Hammond Bx3 €99 ( sure it’s been €69 )
Modo Drum €199 ( overpriced)
Sunset Sound Reverb €49 on sale or group buy
Space delay €49 on sale or group buy
ARC €99 (No use for it)
Mixbox €99
€299
Not worth it to me....Seems a lot to me...if having AT5 was taken into account and it was €199 to Maxgrade I may consider it....

Will customers have to pay £10/$10 every time they want to download their purchased software like they do after three months with other Ik multimedia sample based products?

The same critics appears on every forum I read so far, so it’s a pretty widespread opinion. I’ll speak with my wallet by not buying the upgrade from Total Studio 2 Max until a more reasonable price is asked to upgrade.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Fri Mar 05, 2021 7:10 pm Total Studio 3 MAX does not have "most of the same products" there's a ton added and even people who bought it on sale for peanuts can pay $/€299.99 for a huge amount of additional products. It seems a bit expensive but then I just noticed TS 3 has the Max version of Sampletank 4. My version (TS 2 Max) has the older Sampletank 3 so that's one good reason to upgrade besides all the other goodies.
Right now Sampletank 4 Max is $499 on their site.
