In case you haven't got it already, be sure to grab the Hive 2.1 update for it to work.

This is literally the best news ever. I'm so looking forward to this getting traction and making microtonal composition effortless. I have already asked a few developers about it.
Massive kudos to everyone involved with this.

I know this is a plugin but could this technology also be built into a DAW?

Totally...the code is freely available to do so. Just needs a flood of people emailing and asking them! And when we have their ears maybe we can start pushing for things like custom piano rolls and other useful microtonal features.aMUSEd wrote: Mon Mar 29, 2021 8:55 pm I know this is a plugin but could this technology also be built into a DAW?

aaah.
So if i understand this correctly, the MINI is just a "player" so it's no different than loading a .TUN file directly into Hive2, to showcase how it works / communicates, and with the big boy, you can adjust tuning on the fly on the master track? I gotta download the demo, this is very interesting indeed.

The difference with the MINI and Hive alone is that every subsequent instance of Hive will be tuned the same as the first, you don't have to load a TUN file into each one.Ploki wrote: Tue Mar 30, 2021 10:54 am aaah.

That sounds pretty strange, not seen that issue with the Hive beta I've been using. Can you send an email to info at oddsound . com with your OS and Logic version? We'll try to get repro.Ploki wrote: Tue Mar 30, 2021 11:07 am In logic - only the first selected scale registers in Hive - if i select load another one (or select it in a loaded folder), hive keeps playing the first selected scale for some reason
