Sierra or High Sierra for Old Mac?

I ran Sierra and High Sierra, neither had stability issues I can recall particularly. Ran Sierra on a 2010, very dinky MBP which died shortly after I got the 2018 MBP which came with HS. I'm not a Logic user.

The OP didn't say which v. Of Logic. LPX came out in 2013, but I continued to use LP9 for old stuff for a few years.
Just sharing my experience.

So I really only use logic when I want to create a sampler library and use redsampler. I'm not a daily logic user even though I own it. I use several DAWs, but, if I have to label myself I'm a Reaper user. I also use Reason and Live when the mood hits, but Maschine in Reaper has replaced much of that for me.

All that said, I won't be running most of that on this machine, just standalone instruments treated as external instruments, midi in, audio out, or, via tools like VEP. My music "studio" hasn't run off of just one machine for at least a decade.
