Thanks. Every once in a while I come up with a decent idea. A lot of talented people here who I feel deserve to be recognized.

@ all:
let me play the advocatus diaboli  (but I do not mean the following reproachfully at all)
is such a thread really a good idea? don't you worry about deterring others? does that not lead to a "music cafe" in the music cafe? what about those who may never be mentioned?

i really don't want to attack anyone, but i have my doubts. ok i can also hear the grass growing ...
it is better to have a track with some mistakes than a track without any soul

I have a few doubts about this idea as well to be truthful...

Definitely done here with very good intentions, no doubt about that at all, but it can be a little tricky to get the tone right with such threads...maybe see how it goes for a little while?

Thelostsoul/Adi

Vurt, I find your music hilarious.
Many paid and free VSTs as well as Kontakt libraries. As well as HW synths/drum machine and acoustic instruments.

As long as everybody keeps it civil, I don't see how there can be a problem. If enough people participate, my thought process is that everybody here who contributes to this forum will be mentioned. Look at how many have been mentioned already.

In addition to that, the music of these people, some of whom may have had little to no exposure, might get some more exposure. Too many threads here with 0 or 1 feedback. Hopefully, this thread will improve those numbers for some.

But definitely done with good intentions. My hope is that this will become one of the most positive threads in this sub forum.

Of course that all depends on who participates and how they choose to participate.

That much, unfortunately, is out of my hands.

Yeah, fair enough and it might well give more exposure to some 'missed first time around' tracks on here.

100% Definitely worth running to see how it goes.

ChameleonMusic,
Thank you for replying. I keep waiting for some huge band to steal my music and it hasn't happened yet. Ha ha.
