I'd never heard of Meldaproduction till you mentioned it, I took a little wander through what they got and was like... ooo, I'd like that... oooo I'd like that... and that... and that... I'm giving MSoundFactory a demo, it's very crashy. VST3s are there just best not to touch them, lucky bitwig can just handle the crash without killing the DAW.

But some very nice instruments in there.
Either you love the stuff or you hate it. And if you hate it, the main concern is the GUI and the fact that it might look like overkill for simple tasks. Both true, but all the plugins share the same infrastructure (multiparameters, multiband, modulators, utilities on the right side), and once you have learned this stuff, you can apply your knowledge to every plugin.

As far as crashes are concerned: If you are interested in investing some time in Melda plugins, it may be a good idea to contact their support. I am on the beta and had very little problems in the last few years. So it might have a particular reason with a particular fix.

And MTurboReverbMB ist the total overkill then. For sure one of the most capable on the market, but you should have a clear idea then, what you want to realize with it, then it‘s a (admittedly complicated) swiss army knife and powerhorse.

Getting inspiration is not really the strength of all Melda tools, as I find, therefore the many knobs are too distracting.

Well so far, I'm finding melda's GUI to be ok, it's a bit oldschool and poorly designed in the UI/UX department but I was born geek so I'm not too bad with that stuff, I like the MReverbMB but that MSoundFactory is quite disappointing (is it just me or is the sound quality on it a bit shait? I could go on...), but it did give me access to a bucket load of free plugins, which I have yet to even try. I tried 2 so far and can't tell they are actually doing anything lol...

I haven't got or tried MTurboReverbMB though, and at that price, doubt I ever will.

Well... Compressor then EQ. (And maybe an EQ before Verb....) but yes, basically what you said is 90% of the way there...
