does warmoth have set-in necks?
No neck through or set-neck options from Warmoth at this time. They are very much Fender replacement neck company first, custom neck second. Very nice products though (I made a custom 32" p-bass from Warmoth parts, it sounds great and I love it).

My Logan custom Tele has a Mighty-Mite neck(which might be a slightly more affordable alt to the Warmoth brand) . . . and it's so totally comfortable in my hands - which is where I'm going with my take :
that EVERY neck feels different from another
Find the one that fits your fingers and it's heaven
peace

My mate lives in Southport so was able to take along a couple of examples of what he was after neck-wise, and was able to pop in and see progress along the way - and, like an antenatal father at an ultrasound, he bonded with that guitar before it was even a guitar.

Mike's bread and butter seems to be building Status Quo models, but don't hold that against him. His prices are very, very keen, but there is a waiting list. He's highly rated.
+1 on Mike Smith. He's a mate of Trev Wilkinson as I remember (both Southport lads I think)
