How accurate is SQ8L? I mostly don't care about the sounds but there are a few really good patches. Never tried to program one myself.

The bio says "multi-platinum producer", he should be well aware of NDA violations so I'm also thinking he got the ok from Arturia.
Although something feels weird... why not teasing directly from their social platforms? They have like 300k followers on Instagram.

Thank god! Finally an emulation that's not an analog dinosaur. I used to own an ESQ-1 so this SQ80 emulation will be very welcome here.

(Yes I know the SQ80 has CEM3379 analog filters).

And I'm not going to list all the emulations of analog dinosaurs because no one has that kind of time.

Just name an analog dinosaur and there's probably an emulation except for very rare and obscure synths.

Now find true emulations of the Ensoniq VFX or Fizmo or Yamaha FS1R or SY77 or......

Anyway forgive me for actually getting excited by a new synth that isn't yet another analog emulation. I did forget that it was bound to trigger someone....

Anyway, there's plenty of analog dinosaurs and digital dinosaurs to model yet... Whether there were more crap digital ones, or more crap analog ones back in the day is a different debate...

This kind of leak is least obvious marketing move, which is much better than going through some obvious You Tube influencer, much better.
