Sadly, I can't modify my Adobe sub at all, only cancel it for a new plan as they still only charge me the original fee of $9.99 (PS plan).

I reluctantly bought Photoshop CS6 for £620 back in 2013 as I didn't want to subscribe forever. Previously I used the CS2 Production Premium Suite which I got to do my course in Interactive Multimedia back in the mid 2000's. I still use Photoshop CS6 pretty much every day so it's been worth it in the long run for what I do. When Affinity Photo came out, it was pretty buggy. The only real difference for me is that the Layer Style window is white and is smaller with higher resolutions. I got a free license for Hit Film Pro 14 which I use for my video productions which was cool. It was a freak Humble Bundle giveaway some years back for £30. Sadly if you want to use the Pro version now, you have to subscribe.

Affinity have a 40% off offer atm on Affinity Photo...

I can't even recall how many times I paid $600-ish for photoshop since the 90's, I am pretty happy overall with the subscription going on 10 years now. I have to have it professionally though, as always. Even if I don't use it constantly.
