everybody's thinking it...

I was trying to remember when Silo came out, I think it was early summer? So it was out for maybe four or five months before it was able to picked up for peanuts with a voucher etc?

Because of the licensing agreement that Dmitry has with PA,I doubt very much that an upgrade will be available through his website...

I have a few licenses for PA Thorn which I have never installed,because I found an original DS license here on KVR and it feels better to me...

I'm not sure why I have an aversion to PA...but I do...

Slate and PA along with a few others give me nausea...

So because there will be no Tantra 2 in my world,I'll just have to keep on using the original version

Yes tomorrow or the 5th I'm hoping. The 14 day demo limit is fine. Sometimes they reset it if there is a big sale but that's plenty of time to evaluate such a plugin. 14 Minutes ought to do the trick.

I'll give Tantra 2 a good fair test when the demo is released but it's going to have to bring quite a bit new over version one especially if the upgrade price is steep.

We'll see how it goes.....

Aside from being able to modulate any of the fx parameters, I just don't see how Infiltrator is not superior in every way. And I think more modulation options are going to be added in future updates... so yeah, not that tempted by Tantra 2, tbh. Maybe I'm missing something.

as a long time user of Tantra, i'm just glad i bought Infiltrator recently.
Infiltrator is genuinely versatile and has a far superior sound.
Tantra is fun, but it seems to strip the body and low-end density out of any sound. Every preset is kinda samey.
Pretty much every sound on the soundcloud player i prefer the Dry sound better.
Knowing PA, the upgrade price will be $69.99... $40 more than just buying it on sale

First impressions - I can't hear much of sonic improvement, and the GUI is a bit of a step back. Sad.

I just tested the demo but I don´t really see new features (I have Tantra 1). There are 2 new filters (Dark and Clean) and a playback speed button. Even soundwise it seems like the old one. Do I miss something?

Let’s try it, GUI looks horrible imo, PA is PA nothing to hate and nothing to love, I like that they still offer both options of subscription and perpetual, plus they give you back credits when you subscribe to purchase anything. My only problem with them are updates.

Back ok Tantra2 I can’t wait to try it, as I love 1, I hope is better than what someone above l, mentioned to be almost exactly like v1.

What I never liked is that Tantra saturates the signal, regardless of whether you turn every effect in it on or off. That's pretty much why I never use it, although I like the trance gate (I have more than one better alternative for that as well though).
