The reason why I recommend SketchCassette is that you can bypass the tape colour and just use the wow & flutter (or other elements). It's a versatile multi-FX plugin.

Freakshow Industries’ Mishby is one of my favorites for this. Also, the new Neold Warble is impressive, but not cheap. I am really digging it’s vibe.
