So... what will you get on Black Friday?

Looking to upgrade Ableton Live. I've been checking to see when they announce their BF/CM deals but nothing yet. Expecting them to just announce a 20% discount, but if it's any higher it will likely get my attention.

Thinking of doing a drive-buy on Fuse Audio Labs.

I'll probably upgrade to Studio One v5 Pro, if they have their usual BF deal. I'm mostly using Logic now, but one of my singer friends/collaborators uses v5 Pro and I'm still on v4 Pro.
Logic Pro | LUNA Pro | OB-X8 | Prophet 6 | OB-6 | Rev2 | TEO-5 | Pro 3 | SE-1X | Minitaur | Deepmind 12D | Integra-7 | TR-1000 | Analog RYTM mk2 | Digitakt 2 | TD-3 MO | TD-3 | Maschine+

More a case of see what actual deals there are. Black Friday is officially 26th November, but there seems to be deals all over the place just now, listed as 'Black Friday'
If any no-brainers pop up I may be tempted, but moving more into hardware now, so not as much of a choice, compared to the millions of software 'deals'.

I wonder what happens if I press this button...

Since I barely use any of the plugins I've picked up on previous "no brainer" deals, I'll probably avoid anything that wasn't already on my list this year. The main item I'm looking at in the near-term is Kontakt, so if the crossgrade for that is 50% off, I'll probably jump on it.

Should be a good opportunity. I'm still on v4 as well, but, I will skip v5, and wait what v6 will bring. Otherwise I simply spend too much money for a hobby I pursue once in a month, at best...cryophonik wrote: Sun Nov 14, 2021 5:36 pm I'll probably upgrade to Studio One v5 Pro, if they have their usual BF deal. I'm in the "nothing in particular I want" phase. I'm sure something(s) will come up on sale that I'll end up picking up but there's nothing I'm really GAS'ing for. Only music related purchases I want are some new drum cymbals which I don't expect to come up for sale, so I'll probably just buy some new ones slowly over time throughout 2022.
I also just dropped a lot of money on a new Macbook Pro and also had a new roof put over a portion of my house so the recent hit to the old bank account may be contributing to my lack of GAS at the moment.
On second thought, if Eventide release an Anthology update that includes SplitEQ during the holiday season, I'd likely pick that up. They've already said they'll be doing that, I just don't know when.

Actually trying to avoid smaller -'no-brainer" purchases in trying to save for a hardware purchase. Which definitely won't be on a BF deal since most are showing them as not currently in stock. Hoping one of the online stores might have one of their "Buy a gift card, get and % off offers" (or similar) I've done in previous BF sales.
Alas, I find myself in the market for a new compressor ATM...

Possibly Nest, pretty much the only VST I don’t own that interests me right now…VCV Rack if it comes out before BF!
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!
