Ok, you your right - now it works without https.

You put some efforts into that page, obviously. That's the christmas song we all wanted to hear.
Nice insight!

Sort of 'Doom' Christmas at times!
Thank you ChameleonMusic!

Yes, just good mood and a little festivity is not enough for us.
It has to be a little thought-provoking and in-depth. 8)

I love how it comes in at :40. The whole thing is super fun.
When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com

Thank you for the review! Now listening to "In The Flame of the Candle": nice church bell intro and eventual human choir and pipe organ. Has a 70's/80's vibe, which is fine by me. I am assuming the lead guitar is sampled? Good vocoder effect. I like this song; wasn't sure where it was going next. Nice vocals and melodies all around. Very good overall! :)
Thanks Aaron! We appreciate your feedback very much!

Solo-parts: No, no, our guitarist already plays the lead guitar
herself, even if there are sometimes a lot of (groaning!) Takes,
just to achieve uniformity.

The trumpet part in the middle was initially played by a midi
trumpet - and actually sounded good. When we heard that
a friend played the trumpet well, we invited him for a day so
that he could practice this solo and we could record it.
Playing directly is better - even if the result is always a matter
of taste. That means, there are some listeners who thought
the old solo, which was played via midi, was better.

I don't know how I managed to miss this last month, but it still sounds great in January. I think the darker aspects of this track work very well, and I agree with Frantz' statement regarding this being a new Christmas classic. I think the style has a lot of similarities with the very early Opeth albums (although less guitar-oriented). The mix is very well done too.

Good work :)

Haha, yeah, "Opeth" have elevated a kind of "progressive death
metal" to their style, alternating with calm ballad-like passages.
This is of course a flattering comparison.

And it's already January - but we can still save a little Christmas
atmosphere into the new year. For us, Christmas is not only
"happy-go-lucky", but also thinking, pondering and being with
yourself! And then it fits when a Christmas song is also a bit doomy,
when it reminds us of ancestors and the complexity of life!

Thank you, seismic!
