the only remark I'd have I'll make to add maybe some levity: "Emotional and bright" does not appear to agree strongly with "Static". 'Static felt' I don't know from.

none of the mods have complained? that's the only time you need to worry, a couple of people not liking it, well, whatever we do, there will always be a couple somewhere who don't like it...
covid, has sadly changed the world for many of us, nothing wrong with trying to make the best of the "new way"![]()
Yes, it's a bit crazy. A lot of my friends have lost their jobs and I've seen a lot of venues close their doors in the past few years, it's very sad.
You do have a point actually haha! In my mind, the 'static' element referred to static electricity since a bit of tin foil was used on the violin in the sampling stage. And in the end, the sound is quite bright even though a bit of 'felt' (a mic vocal sponge apparently) was used in the process.jancivil wrote: Tue Dec 28, 2021 7:41 pm the only remark I'd have I'll make to add maybe some levity: "Emotional and bright" does not appear to agree strongly with "Static". figured there was something not on the surface
I thought of 'felt piano'
and 'the music was thud-like', which is about cardboard on the cymbals and blankets on the drums

Someone from KVR bought me a coffee today. That was the very first one from someone from KVR (or actually, from someone watching my reviews). That's pretty awesomevurt wrote: Tue Dec 28, 2021 6:58 pm dont remove it if you don't want to yourself. it's not hurting anyone to ask.

Yes, COVID has make musician's lives even more challenging than they already were.ThomC wrote: Tue Dec 28, 2021 6:49 pm I'm not here to complain... but well, I'm primarily a touring musician and all music venues, theaters, cinemas have been closed down here due to new Covid restrictions. I can't plan anything without it being changed every other week. It's a real pain in the bum to say the least. So yeah, I guess I'm a full time YouTuber now haha. I don't know if I'm doing it the right way and I'm certainly hearing what others have to say about it.
A bit of unsolicited advise: when I see an embedded YT video, if it's longer than, say, 1-2 minutes most of the time I will not watch it. I may click on a shorter video, even if it's not about a subject that 100% aligns with my interests (for example, samuraiguitarist's short videos vs his long-format stuff). Maybe something to A/B test as a content producer?
Anyway, here's wishing 2022 brings some relief. All the best with your music & videos
