Blue Cat Connector

I was wondering how it would be utilized with a few Daws like S1, cakewalk, reaper with a live host like Gig Performer or patcher which is another blue cat product if anyone has any use cases where this solves a potential headache.

I once rewired into a track of sonar because it would open a vst synth called voyager which was 32 bit and sonars bridging did not want to open it and I did not want to spring for jbridge at that time. I wonder is rewire still around for use in such situations still?

Another idea would be if it could some how be used with the lite versions of Daws that put restrictions on their lite versions to not use other plugins like S1 prime does. Also maybe it enables us to stack daws for usage with fx that wont work in other Daws as someone mentioned earlier with regard to logics alchemy and others?

Does this enable outs from a host to appear as ins from an interface? That would be a cool way to enable one to put say an instance of gig performer stand alone in front of studio one prime to enable anyone to use idea as a way to utilize other companies plugins.

I believe there are similar virtual cables already so what makes this one the better option?
