Rift 2.0 is mint, and on a bit of a sale
Also vybz is on deep discount for a few hours, I just stumbled upon it thanks to this thread - $9 currently!

I have to agree that the new Rift 2.0 by Minimal Audio is a stellar piece of software. It's incredible what you can get out of it by simply sending a saw wave or other basic waveform through it. It brings new and exciting variations with rhythmic material or synth bass. I've been on a dance music kick for several months and I've used Rift quite a bit since the first version was released. It's especially addictive when processing additive and granular synthesis. A sound designer's playground!!
Another great option for totally transforming loops is UltraLoop by Twisted Tools. It's a Reaktor Ensemble so you'll need a full version of Reaktor to use it since Reaktor Player isn't supported yet. It's a powerful remixing and production tool that makes very complex and intricate patterns easy to work with. And like Rift, it's extremely addictive!! I've spent countless hours feeding it my own loops and experimenting with the randomization features for "happy accidents", and I strike gold every time I fire it up. Highly recommended!!

Cherry Audio Voltage Modular FX.
I see many are still sleeping on this one; its basically their Modular System as an Effect.

If you don't mind routing your stuff, I really endorse MUX by MuTools. It's standalone and also part of MuLab, for just ten bucks more or so.
It's all drag and drop, and you can add built-in FX or any VST you might own.
The latest thing I built was a multidelay, with eight sync-locked lines, where each has its own FX rack. It's just crazy powerful, like Spaced Out on steroids.
I also made a multifx unit with delay, reverb, eq, distortion, resonance, flanger, chorus and two volume LFOs. It could do some serious soundmangling
You can also make your own synths quite easily. I made an additive synth in MUX.

Yep Tantra, Byome and Stutter Edit.
I only wished stutter edit allowed you to use automation to activate the gestures/keys as working with Midi Controlled-FX in Logic is still sadly a cumbersome and limiting task.

Yes, as in several seconds at times. But it's unavoidable for it to do what it does. It's the kind of effect you would add once everything else in your track was ready to go but if you want what it does, it's more than worth it. There's a new update I haven't grabbed yet that's supposed to make it even betterer.jamcat wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 5:36 amMirror seems cool, but wouldn't it add a metric tonne of latency?

PSP N20, is a real gem (just needs a resizable GUI)
Zebrify , the FX version of U-HE Zebra
Stutter Edit 2 , plenty of possibilities here
Effectrix , needs a mention
