I was about to buy the bundle…
But only if there’s vst3.
Both VST2 and AU plugins are universal binaries including arm64, i.e., Apple Silicon, but Logic Pro doesn't recognise the AU variant.
3.2 is old. there's nothing new in them for me here. i've downloaded the latest plug in installer/authorizer and the versions of plug ins it installs are not new. same versions that have been out forever. they are not arm64/apple silicon native.

where are you seeing that information? is this download link hidden somewhere?

Sonalksis have confirmed they have no plans to make VST3 versions of their plugins.
They said if they made new plugins, they would be available in AU and VST3, but not existing versions.

That’s weird. I’ll have to redownload and see if I can get it to be arm. No idea why it’s not installing correctly for me unless their app isn’t doing its job.

Too little too late. They are dead as far as I'm concerned.

I can confirm that at least the MK2 version of the compressor is native. I just installed it and it's as fabulous as I remember! :)

The prices are insane for those old plugins

so, the sonalksis plug in manager is native but the compressor plug in i have, which is v3.20 runs as not native via the au hosting compatibility app in logic/live. the Vst does not show up in live.

the plug in manager takes a while to connect. but it's fine once it does.

edit: i uninstalled and reinstalled the plug in and the result is the same. the plug in is not native. it's v3.20 and only runs via the au hosting compatibility app and only when using the AU. the vst doesn't show up anywhere.

it's the SV315mk2 compressor. definitely not native over here. but the plug in manager is.

can you check the actual plug in and see if it's native for you? the plug in installer app is native but the compressor plug in itself requires the hosting compatibility app to run. see above post for screen grab/details.

can you confirm using activity monitor? the plug in installer is native but the plug in itself is not native and only runs via the auhostingcompatibility service app. i tried by installing/uninstalling/reinstalling and can't get it to run natively and the vst doesn't show up at all. only the AU which runs as 'intel' - see screen grabs above.

Post

I only installed the VST2 plugin version and that one is native in Reaper.

thanks. yeah. that one is native in live as well. i guess it's just the AU that installs as intel. several developers have this problem where the universal binary installs the intel version. inaGRM, Sknote, Waldorf.. sknote sorted it out and it's some stupid naming convention they missed.. i assume it's something similar for the others but who knows....

emailed sonalksis support.. got this reply:
Apologies for the delay.

You are right. The plugins were recently rebuilt for ARM thinking they were compatible but they are not so the way they are instantiated by hosts means that the ARM part isn't accessible.

On a positive note our developers are planning a new release soon so if you'd like to be notified please sign to our newsletter. Don't worry, we don't send a lot of emails :)

I hope this helps.
Best regards,
