Yes it's an option that i considered and it's still valid. I already have two long cables running from wall to wall or more. The last time i stumbled upon one of them, on Christmas, i risked to bring the TV down to earth. If i mute the radio i can still hear my screams sloooowly decaying as they bounce against the walls. I keep the radio playing after i fall asleep (though it has timers) and most of the times when, for some reason, the station stops, i wake up. Depending on where you live and what your favourite station is, getting a radio with DAB+ instead of just FM could be the solution. These are affordable and designed for the job at hand.
