Yeah, hearing quite a bit in this track. Very, very cool.
Cheers, glad you like it. Think it sounds ok now, but always happy to have things pointed out to me...wood for the trees and all that!

LOL! Right, jungle, the genre for those who can't dance. But, that chilaxinating rock back and forth that took you to somewhere. Ok, maybe you needed some help with that journey, but yeah.

Sorry, on a trip down my own memory lane.
There would always be some poor young stewdent who'd had a bit too much to drink/too many pills/wild love wood, who'd try and dance to the drums at full pelt. Never ended well... :hihi:

I am in too. A somewhat collage like experience without being a plain mash up. Interesting. I have always liked DT’s voice. It is so welcome in these Brit-styles he throws around.

No, it never did, LOL!

Committed - fast-paced - unorthodox, that's how I would describe
my first impression.

The very lascivious almost psychedelic voice fits very well. I find
rhythm (jungle), instrumentation and voice conclusively fitting -
a nice compilation to a whole, a song! "Somwhat new" fits two
meanings here. Wonderful! :tu:

Ah, cheers, glad you liked it.!

I've not had any mind altering substances for years (bar some booze..) :scared: but I do like my reversed guitars/wacky effects etc. Sometimes perhaps a bit too much...

Definitely lots going on, but it is clearly working for me.
I love the vocals.
The beat is so fun.
Very cool!!!

I went digging for this after listening to your most recent tune.

Far out. OMG, this is so you and yet it's not you. I had no idea you were so versatile. And yes, a 12 string guitar just sounds SOOOO good.

Shades of a whole lot of people in this one but in the end, it's uniquely DT and yet, not DT.

If you ever made an album, I'd buy it. I wouldn't even need to hear it first as I've yet to hear anything you've done that I didn't love.

There are a whole lot of people out there who don't know what they're missing if they haven't heard your music.

This is a reworked and extended version of my entry for this months' FL contest - 'Invent a new genre'.

As I said in the contest, on the basis that there is no music which cannot be improved by a 12 string guitar, then I give you Jangle Jungle - the indie rokk crossed with 90s jungle/drum and bass riddim an' 'ting (if you would...) Ever the optimist.. :hihi:

Lots going on, hopefully not too confusing - it makes sense to me... :scared:

EDIT - A google drive link for anyone having any bother; https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bf0iS7 ... sp=sharing
I like this one a lot. Really good, like Badfinger f’d a Drum & Bass tune. My only criticism is that I’d like to hear the vocals up in the mix.
