Tell me about your touchscreen setup. Pros/cons and what you did to overcome any limitations

Just in case you might want to purchase an iPad as external touch monitor: Apple is so stupid to not allow this, your finger won't do anything on an touchscreen monitor like an iPadPro 13" M4 is, actually. This is so weird I can only laugh about spending 1400€ on that device. This is my touch screen experience.

But does anyone uses an Android Tablet as touch screen and can recommend a metering software for that, spectrum analyzer, goniometer? I did only find one you install on your main machine (e.g. MacBookPro) and send the data the Android to show it. But the CPU work has to be done on your music machine, which I do not want to.
