Yes, you can indeed have the app be "virtually" loaded inside your DAW thru Connector, with minimal latency.imrae wrote: Wed May 25, 2022 7:54 am This could be very handy with Sononym; at the moment I have to switch to WASAPI (and accept more latency) for seamless switching back and forth. (Audio interface drivers do not like having multiple ASIO programs open.)
With this one could send Sononym to a monitoring track in the DAW, and even apply effects while browsing samples.

Yes. You can use the UAD interface in the PatchWork app for example, load the Connector plug-in there and send the signal to another instance loaded in Cubase. If both audio interfaces are not in sync, you will have to activate drift compensation (but resampling will occur).rasmusklump wrote: Wed May 25, 2022 8:26 am Can this plugin be used to record a microphone track using an UAD apollo interface with its unison preamp feature and route this signal into a cubase input track while cubase itself uses the RME fireface ufx driver?
I own patchwork as well.

It does not do driver aggregation, but you can use several apps (each one using a different driver) and send signals back and forth between them.SLiC wrote: Wed May 25, 2022 8:35 am Yeh, I had the same question- will this let me aggregate audio interfaces (2 x USB AISO Audio Interfaces with different AISO drivers) in one DAW with low latency (AISO4All could work but be a bit flaky) as this is the holy grail for Windows users!

Thanks - us poor windows users are still waiting for someone to make a commercial, supported version of what 'AISO4All' can do- so much hardware now has AISO drivers and we have to just pick 'one at a time' in our DAWS (or use AISO4All), something like you have done stable, low latency but can aggregate hardware would be very popular I think!Blue Cat Audio wrote: Fri May 27, 2022 7:32 amIt does not do driver aggregation, but you can use several apps (each one using a different driver) and send signals back and forth between them.SLiC wrote: Wed May 25, 2022 8:35 am Yeh, I had the same question- will this let me aggregate audio interfaces (2 x USB AISO Audio Interfaces with different AISO drivers) in one DAW with low latency (AISO4All could work but be a bit flaky) as this is the holy grail for Windows users!

We have just uploaded a new video tutorial explaining how to connect Pro Tools and Logic together with Connector:
Sending MIDI and audio back and forth between Pro Tools and Logic

Enjoy!

We have been asked a couple of times if it is possible to use Connector to play with other musicians remotely and how it can be done. The answer is yes: you can do online jams with Connector at low latencies!
While there is no guarantee (the result depends on your connection, the distance between locations and many other parameters over which we have no control), we have tested it for you, and here is how to set things up in details!

After two full years of batsh_t craziness, it looks like things may settle down a little in 2023, hoping to take advantage of your cool new tools and thanks for the detailed support pages, maybe with luck, there will be some snow days for extra practice hours
