Is Soundtoys actively developing anything new? I know they do maintenance releases and updates to keep pace with Mac and Windows etc, but not aware of them releasing anything brand new in the last three years or so which is when I started getting back into using PCs for Music production.

I will buy all the companies and then change all their products to ilok protection. Then I'll buy ilok.

For the Slate Bundle Ana 2 was created by Sonic something. Maybe he buys the rights to own it? I'm guessing it's 1. VSX headphones 2. Subscription 3. VMR mic 4. Slate Raven as for sales for him? Arturia is owned by EMZ partners- https://emzpartners.com/en/emz-partners ... o-arturia/jules99 wrote: Sat May 28, 2022 9:49 am Slate has made so much money both from their subscription and their highly successful VMS/VSX line, it wouldn't surprise me if they went shopping. They lack quality products in the virtual instrument and audio restoration (like RX or ERA) departments, so they might be looking at companies like Acon, Sonnox or Klevgrand for the second department. For virtual instruments, it's hard to guess as this field is so crowded. Nexus maybe?!
One level higher: Apple buys Slate. Or Arturia.

Fabfilter is bought and rebrands all plugins to "Behringer".

Cytomic releases The Scream just after the Great Plugin Depression of 2056.
Amid the smouldering ruins of humankind, Image-Line add GUI resizing to Fruity Reeverb 2. Maybe there is hope for humanity afterall.

UVI is trying to get bought with a new subscription system. Probably the owner of Plugin Alliance, Native Instruments, and iZotope will take it.
If you plan on purchasing your first Universal Audio hardware, you can get a free additional plugin. Just send a PM.

See which companies keep selling software for months at very low price to attract new customer base.
That would be the next hit for purchase by some big company.

After what has happened to Accusonus I just hope whoever buys a plugin company keeps making the bloody plugins. They got bought out by Facebook to use their IP in the Metaverse and now they’re no longer making plugins.

People pay for things you can pick in a few minutes on public land for free?
I’d like Melda Production to buy someone. As I own the everything bundle, it’s all gravy.
