That's what makes something a Virtual Analogue, not just a digital synth.

Anyway, to answer the question, it will depend on what you are looking for. If I could only have one synth plugin, it would be DS Thorn. No hesitation, no doubt. If I couldn't have DS-Thorn, I'd be almost as happy with DUNE, ANA-2. They are all extremely capable and very versatile. VIper is another one I'd recommend you look at. It just sounds really nice.

If you want something to complement Diva, maybe you should try Vacuum Pro. It's a bit like Diva's dirty cousin. It can go places where no self-repecting Diva would want to be seen.

If you want something that's a little more straightforward, somewhat less versatile but easier to use, then try Invader or GR-8. Both seem to have a lot of sweet spots and new sounds practically fall out of them when you play around with their settings.

I think that's a stupid way of looking at things. Why does synthesis type matter at all? Any two oscillator synth with cross-mod can do FM and there is nothing particularly special about wavetables. Ultimately, they are all just different ways of achieving the same result so one is as good as another.

Also i forgot about Rapid, Phase Plant and Massive X.

Dune 3 is, IMO, the best sounding VST synth ever. It's VA capabilities are underrated as said before.

E-phonic Invader 2 is great too.

Lots of interesting suggestions thanks, although some are wavetable and additive etc. To be clear I was thinking traditional subtractive Osc, filter, vca, lfo, env config of which I have quite a few emulations of old stuff. I was not aware of many non-emus of this architecture than the ones I mentioned in my original post. I won’t be ditching my other stuff!

Just use what you have

My favorite VA sonically is Spire. It's not perfect, but, better than most others. ;)

For real

Super 8, AA Ultra VA 3, Diva are all subtractive virtual analog. Even VA is in a name of AA Ultra Virtual Analog 3

Largo is dope. Oldie but a goodie. Karma FX 2 is underrated.
