Anyway, to answer the question, it will depend on what you are looking for. If I could only have one synth plugin, it would be DS Thorn. No hesitation, no doubt. If I couldn't have DS-Thorn, I'd be almost as happy with DUNE, ANA-2. They are all extremely capable and very versatile. VIper is another one I'd recommend you look at. It just sounds really nice.
If you want something to complement Diva, maybe you should try Vacuum Pro. It's a bit like Diva's dirty cousin. It can go places where no self-repecting Diva would want to be seen.
If you want something that's a little more straightforward, somewhat less versatile but easier to use, then try Invader or GR-8. Both seem to have a lot of sweet spots and new sounds practically fall out of them when you play around with their settings.
