MSoundFactory if you can deal with the workflow. The Additive module has up to 64 Harmonics (not restricted to sine wave), and you can always use multiple Additive modules if you want to slay your CPU.

Modulate (per-voice/global) gain, detune, stereo width, and phase. You can set up 4 sets of partials at corners of an XY pad (which can also be modulated to morph between them). At each of these (named A through D) you can "Analyze sample" to resynthesize from audio files.

There's also a Modal filter module set up very similarly that is a lot of fun to process things through. Really good for physical modelling.

I can't recal a modern purely additive synth; looke like devs tend to make it a part of WT synths (which you're aware of).
It's done like that in Zebra 2, Serum, MSoundFactory/MPowerSynhg, Dune 3, and Pigments.
Even though I think Dune is the perfect blend of features, looks like Pigment's additive engine has the most stuff going on

Godin Redline, Kuassa, Fuse Audio, Audiority, Roland A-500pro, Dune, Dagger, TAL, Reaper for Rock & Synthwave pleasures; Viper and FL Studio for guilty EDM pleasures

Harmor is all additive from start to end, only the FX section is not additive

That's correct.
I just had a slight impression that OP meant some recent movements in the field. I think he's been long aware of Harmor, but might have missed this new module in Pigments.
Also it's a shame that FL stopped supporting their own VSTs, and Harmor is a kind of an FL Studio synth now, but that won't stop a professional (might stop an another professtional)

Although Tone 2's Icarus 2 is a wavetable synth, the harmonic editor is very fun to play with. Tone 2's Warlock and Gladiator also sound amazing.

I still use Morphine, it still works for now. And is still available.

except Harmor is now FL Studio only... and never was officially released on Mac before it was discontinued as a separate plugin.

What about Virsyn's Cube, which is now in V2 ? It does resynthesis btw.

DS Thorn for Additive / Spectral stuff. The harmonic filter is great for instant textures. On sale for $24 right now too.

isn't metasynth an additive one (though not a vst) ?

quoting the manual:
When the source is a simple sine wave, the image synth is a powerful additive synth capable of integrating thousands of harmonics.

DS Thorn sounds pretty huge to me

I like Audio Damage Phosphor 3. Pretty simple but you can get some cool sounds out of it.

Not additive, but Massive X has a Banana wavetable plus Gorilla mode with King Kong and Kang variants. Does that count?

And the original Phosphor can be downloaded for free!
