Probably Novation Bass Station. I didn't buy it though, don't tell anyone...

Before that, I remember Rubber Duck (standalone, no plugin) and ReBirth-338, which was a big thing back then.

At that time, I had no idea what I was doing with the stuff though.

It was still called Jeeroen Breebart Red Phat Pro.
And I still use it.

My first on was the first Sample Tank.
I made lots of CDs with it, I think something about 5 CDs even an xmas CD.
Really greal pianos and orchester sounds and synth sounds.
Miss is a lot.

I think mine might have been SimSynth, which was a plugin for Fruityloops before it supported VST. I probably bought it in 1999 or 2000. My first VSTi might have been ReFX SidStation. My first VST effects would have been a free bundle, the name of which I cannot remember. I haven't used anything from that far back in years and most of it has been unavailable for a decade or more.

I first came across DAW in 2006, a friend showed me cubase, the first plug in I used was vanguard, i think also some waves plugs if I remember well.

A few years later I started using reaper but didn't work for me, in 2010 I started using Live, got a great deal on a boxed copy of Live 8 at a local store.

The first plugin I bought was u.he Ace, the first effect was Valhalla Ubermod, i should get both agains since I sold them some time ago but I miss them.
