Polyend Play looks niceDNnX wrote: Thu Oct 20, 2022 5:11 pm I love to use hardware synths, FXs, consoles, because I love the sound of them.
However, I've never gone to DAWless. I need it for MIDI sequencing, at least.
Are there any good modern hardware MIDI sequencers which can replace the DAW one?
Tried some classic ones but it just made my workflow worse![]()

I'm on the verge of actually buying some hardware. Not because it's better than what I have ITB but just because it seems fun. If you're a hobbyist and spend all day at work looking at a screen like I do I can definitely see the appeal of having a complete setup that doesn't require a computer.

that's me, I have a lot of songs in my machine recorded on my DAW that will never be finished, they are really just backing tracks for my own personal jam sessions. I havent been in a band since '91, I just like playing. My DAW is a great backing band and also an incredible sound stage if you will for what I love doingfoosnark wrote: Thu Oct 20, 2022 3:32 pm Most people making electronic music (with or without a DAW) are doing it because they enjoy it, not as a career.
