It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

I'm looking to reduce transients in delays, to make them smoother!
There's some great delays with "diffusion" that do this... Valhalla Delay, Replica XT etc
But yes I think a non-level dependent transient shaper after the delay (on a send) should work, just lower the Attack of the incoming transient - and maybe increase the Sustain a little too.
