Re-skinning definitely makes Hive2 sound better than Hive2. But don’t take my word for it, try the demo

You can't really compare them. Hive 2 is a completely different synth to Hive 2.

the hive, is where i would venture, should i want to watch a movie, ice or roller skate, quest with lazers, or enjoy a meal at nandos.
