I've been learning how to use Logic with my new Rise 2 and MPE. It works well in terms of recording. Editing requires a learning curve, but after some time spent experimenting, it's pretty straight-forward. All 5 elements of MPE can be viewed and edited. The thing is with MPE, there's just a lot of data spread across multiple MIDI channels. So given that, it's taken a while to figure out how to focus on what matters editing, without getting distracted by all the data on different MIDI channels. That said, I have no clue how Logic compares with other DAWs, so it could be (or is likely) lagging in terms of ease of editing. Logic will work fine, but may not be the easiest when it comes to editing.

Logic is like voice per channel... you can have as many per voice CC's as you want and it is not limited to pitch, pressure and timbre. Editing pitch is a bother because it is not in semitones and the pressure and timbre data is not as convenient to edit as other DAW's.emasters wrote: Mon Jan 16, 2023 2:18 am That said, I have no clue how Logic compares with other DAWs, so it could be (or is likely) lagging in terms of ease of editing.
