what would be the 'good' way?... :?
Like if it invoked vibes reminiscent of a beloved style or time period?

But Massive sounds more fresh; I never really liked how dated Massive sounded though so I replaced it with Massive.
You need to try Hive 2, so much better than Massive or Hive 2.

Disagree, Hive 2 sounds dated like Massive. Massive should be choice of synth if you want modern sounds.

...on this subject people want analog sound (which is dated sound logicaly thinking) in a digital domain yet something Modern like Massive sounds dated. Wtf people, wtf :borg:

Its 100% programmable with an infinite amount if sounds. How the hell can it sound dated 🤦‍♂️
I wonder what happens if I press this button...

No

IMO sounds can only feel dated if you can a) relate it to music from a certain period or b) sound muffled like vintage sounds

I can't relate Massive to anything perhaps some Dubstep from 10 years ago.

I doubt that it's the only type of sound it can pull off. It doesn't sound muffled either imo.

positively triassic.

I replaced both with Massive. I mean it's Massive, says so on the tin.

If you use the Modern Talking wavetable, that literally everyone and their nan was using for dubstep 10 years ago, sure it's going to instantly transport any would be listener back to that era (for better or worse), but otherwise no, not really.
Always Read the Manual!

Like an incel, massive has never dated.
