I think this sounds great and will have a bunch of great sounds.

With it having quite a decent amount of controls on the front panel I think it could be a great device to have for playing electronic music live. Getting the hands on control for parts could be really great.

The SH-4D does sound good. I especially like some of the squelchy resonant bass sounds.

However, the SH-4D doesn't sound analog to me. It sounds like one of Roland's analog modeling synths. Since I already own several virtual analogs I will probably pass on the SH-4D.
