Some people have a very strange idea of what "That strange and beastly sound" is. I thought the demo sounded "generic and tame."

its a teaser. but they do say, the simple early ideas of that strange and beastly sound, a la uncanny strings and brass type strange.
not necessarily strange by todays standards

in other words, at least wait for the full video

No? Pretty misleading video then... everyone in this thread was so sure it was the actual synth that was shown in the video.

I feel so misled that I'm going to learn to code so I can make a synth that only has one knob and one slider. It will be called OneKnobOneSliderOnly and will making a "ping!" sound unless you remove that cable at the back, in which case it will make this sound: "Ekke Ekke Ekke Ekke Ptang Zoo Boing!"

Maybe. I’m just not sure why you wouldn’t wait until you had something special before you made a teaser video.
