MIDI Looper plugin?

lol, yeah, there are great performers out there !
ask him how long it takes to "dive into" such a setup ?
respectivly how long it takes to set all such up.

What this guy here has is a very much refined "whole setup".
Plus he mastered it !

my time and energy goes into something else.
We all have our focus.
.....give us a looper that we can easily incorporate into "our" platforms of choice.
The OP request was a: "midi looper", finally.
Midi ? there´s imho just nothing out there available as a plugin, to be used in ones own host environment of choice

personally, but thats just me, i can also not cope with any of the audio looper plugins.
Need to re-look into some of these, though.......

I use Gig Performer as well, have a love/hate relationship with it.

Someone has updated PizMidi and I just briefly tested it with Gig Performer and it isn't crashing it so far. Not quite sure how to use it yet but you can midi CC the transport buttons at least.

Edit: Can't get it to playback. It is definitely recording and I can play synths through it and it says it is playing but it is not. Have synths hooked up to the output and a midi monitor and nothing is happening.

Edit 2: Host Sync Mode needs to be "Sample" but this things seems to be working!

I think this might be it! You win KVR today. I'll have to dig deeper into it but upon a cursory inspection, this + launchpad could be a killer combination, if it's stable anyway. Thank you!

Hi, VirtualKeyboard (https://4drx.com/plugins/virtualkeyboard) was updated recently with live MIDI recording controls and it also allows you to loop the resulting MIDI. The tap, record, rewind and play buttons can be "MIDI learned". Maybe you want to give it a try?
