Yes, exactly - we are heavily influenced by the "progressive" rock bands of the 70s, and yeah, this song expresses that quite well.seismic1 wrote: Mon Sep 25, 2023 5:28 pm This song is definitely approaching ProgRock territory, with its various different sections. My favourite part of the song was the chorus, which has a very memorable melody. For some reason, I really liked the reverb/delay on the vocals. Nice sounds.
Good work![]()
Thank you, seismic!

A good song!
Yes, a little more variation in the vocals or *gasp* some extra processing to beef the vocals up.
Other than that, quite clear, good separation of instruments, may6be a touch light on the bass for my personal taste but I'm no producer!

In the current, new version from October 20th, 2023 we have
made some small changes - also based on some of your
comments:
- Drum mix changed slightly
- Individual syllables and parts of the vocals changed slightly.
- The overall mix is a little hotter, i.e. a little louder with
LUFS-I = -9.7 dB. Is that too loud, or does it just sound good?
right there. We hope the mix isn't too loud now.

enroe,
I spent a fair amount of time looking for an older thread with one of your songs that I haven't reviewed yet, but did not find anything; but I know they might exist somewhere, if I go far enough back in time. Instead of that, I listened to "Jamie-Lee". Have I heard the song before & reviewed it already? Possibly. So here I go: you got your distinctive vocals that remind me of Bowling For Soup, as they have in the past; the vocals are very good. The whole song sounds quite good to me! If you feel I still owe you a review, give me a link of a song I haven't reviewed yet, put it on my latest thread (so I don't miss it), and I will post the review on this thread, or a thread of yours that you will surely see.

This gives off a Sebastien Tellier sort of vibe. I like your website. It reminds me of the good old days of the 90's before everything got all centralized and clinical. Cool animation.

review it. There are a few musicians on KVR that I actually
always keep an eye on. This is because I like their creativity
and work. And that includes you too.
