I haven’t experienced that, I’m on Windows as well and went from C11 to C13. It’s not the csh file, I don’t always have those in my project folders either. It’s strange, no idea what could be causing it, report it to Steinberg maybe.

once a project is moved, at all, it will upon next launch prompt you to tell it where you want the proj located. Now it knows. no idea why the version difference throws it off course momentarily.
I have had it prompt me when it should know.

I just downloaded some old .cprs, I'd bet it prompts me upon launch of those. It isn't going to find them where they were, which is gonesville.

there's a cubase upgrade sale at the moment,
without starting a new thread, just wanna see if there are any users (mac or windows) who notice a reduction in CPU usage or perhaps even the opposite? I've read the mixer is less cluttered than v12? Chord track improvements?
i generally hesitate a few versions.
it's only $77 australian but less overhead would be the only thing i'm really interested in.
cheers

For me it's running with less CPU than version 11.4. And you can buy at this reduced price and install when another version comes out, so that's generally a good way to go.

Cubase 13 - so much noise about the region selection in midi editor - but, am I mistaken, or does it just not work in the in-line editor? That great feature ... implementation just left out?

I must be mistaken, right?

EDIT: I was mistaken. Range selection in available in the in-place editor. But at least on Mac there seems to be some confusion with the main tool selection. but range selection works there.
