how is this a transient shaper?

Ozone 11 EQ can distinguish between transient and sustain.
You can EQ either the transient, the sustain or both.
Similarly like Eventide Split EQ.

I use cubase transient. It might not look sexy as all others. Doesn’t matter which one is used. They all does the job.

Your can try Softube Transient Shaper, seems a valid option

I use it for special tasks, but the fact that its treshold oriented make it unusable for bread and butter transient works.

Yeah, mentioned this one awhile back as well. The pump parameter is very good.
