and https://autoeq.app/ provides specific settings for eqmac app.
not bad.

Does it add any latency?
Not appreciable to me. I'm super happy about the result. The only issue with the free version is that you only have 10 bands in your eq. But 10 is better than none, so..
This is a game changer. I LOVE ir.cdbaksu wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 9:48 pm Alternatively you can find impulse responses created for literally hundred of headphones, and use them with a free IR loader.
@OP Sony MDR 7506 can be found here.
ConvologyXT is free and linked above as a free IR loader.MetalSir wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 9:58 pmThis is a game changer. I LOVE ir.cdbaksu wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 9:48 pm Alternatively you can find impulse responses created for literally hundred of headphones, and use them with a free IR loader.

I did my graduation speech on ir simulated devices, 15y ago.
Suggestions on a decent free ir loader for Mac (au only).
Many tks
I saw your link after posting my reply and edited my message! I already use convologyXT. If you're in Logic you can also use Space Designer to load IRs.MetalSir wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 10:01 pmI saw your link after posting my reply and edited my message! I already use convologyXT. I believe those are the sampling rates the IRs were captured at.MetalSir wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 10:07 pmGiving a look to your links.cdbaksu wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 10:03 pmIf you're in Logic you can also use Space Designer to load IRs.MetalSir wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 10:01 pmI saw your link after posting my reply and edited my message! What's the difference between
- Sony MDR-7506 minimum phase 44100Hz.wav
-Sony MDR-7506 minimum phase 48000Hz.wav
The question is: why I need different impulses for different sampling rates?
Good point.cdbaksu wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 10:11 pm I believe those are the sampling rates the IRs were captured at.
So one answer to your question could be so that you get minimum phasing issues if you choose the .wav file with the same rate as the one you're working with in your DAW.
Yes, just navigate to it with the browser. Also make sure to uncheck the Normalize button, and set the mix knob to 100%, as well as checking the preferences to test whether you need the No Latency mode or not.MetalSir wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 10:16 pmGood point.cdbaksu wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 10:11 pm I believe those are the sampling rates the IRs were captured at.

So spamming convologyXT as last insert on my master bus could solve any problem.
I'll check how to load user impulses into convologyXT.
