And this is why I’ve stuck to Intel processors for the last 15 years. On paper the AMD is faster but in real life all the testing is done on Intel. But not to derail the thread, do go on.

And not to derail the derail, but my Ryzen 9 is over twice as fast as my previous i7 (and 20w less real world power). Waves plugins all working with zero issues (inc Clarity Pro, which used to bring my old rig to its knees in PT's AudioSuite - effortless on the new rig).
